Your home. Someone's next favorite place.

Create your listing, set your rate and offer the stays that fit your home. No city launch to wait for.

Your home starts as a draft. You choose when to publish it.

What a renter sees for a 30-night stay

The guest network fee is a percentage of the stay price and is shown to renters before they pay.

An illustration of Stead's guest network fee on an example rate, not an estimate of what reaches your bank. Deposit arrangements, payment processing and any applicable taxes are separate considerations.

From your home to a complete listing.

  1. 01

    Add your home

Start with the essentials, then add photos and details.

  2. 02

    Get ready for bookings

Review your price and policy, set up payouts with Stripe, and walk-scan your home so guests can see the real place.

  3. 03

    Publish when you're ready

Check your saved listing before it goes live. Your home can be the first in its area.

Payout setup must be complete before guests can pay for a stay. Stripe collects the details needed for your payout account; we show that readiness separately from whether your listing is live.

Good questions.

How long are stays on Stead?

You choose a preferred minimum. The minimum guests can book also reflects your home's reviewed eligibility and local requirements. Shorter stays need an eligibility review; choosing a number alone does not authorize them. Renters see the current minimum before choosing dates.

Do I have to finish my listing in one sitting?

No. Your home starts as a draft that only you can see. Add photos and details when you have them, and publish when you're ready.

When can a renter pay for a stay?

Payout setup must be complete before guests can pay for a stay. A listing can be live before that, so we show payout readiness separately from your listing's status.

What is the honesty scan?

Before a home can take bookings, you film a walk through it on your phone. Your phone's location is checked against the home's location while you walk, and the footage becomes a 3D walkthrough guests can explore. We stitch and stabilise it — we never invent rooms.

Can I rent a home and host with the same account?

Yes. One account covers both. Renting and hosting are things you do, not a permanent choice about who you are.
